My First Reflection of 2009 in Art!!! Well anyways......

For the First few lesson in art, my class went through some revision of last year.... which I thought I really needed it cause I was really brain dead from the holidays... hehe ^^

Well This is the work which we revised in this art class:

Visual Language

• Visual Language is the way of communicating through images.

A) The Elements:

1. Line
2. Colour
3. Shape
4. Texture
5. Tone
6. Form (3-d shapes)

B) The Principles:

1. Focal Point/ Emphasis
2. Movement
3. Balance
4. Unity/Harmony
5. Rhythm
6. Depth

• Principals determind how the Elements are used.
• It's like baking a cake; Firstly a recepie(Principals) is needed and then the list of ingredients. (Elements)
• Then the recipe show you how to use the ingredients.
