During one of the classes during term 1, Mrs Vincent had told us to grab a soft toy animal from around the art room. She also told us to grab a 2b pencil and take out our visual dairies. Since there wasn't enough to go around the room my friend and I decieded to share a toy.
My friend had chosen a yellow and small fox which was cute a cuddly from her point of view, but a little different from mine. After everyone had a soft toy animal infront of them, Mrs Vincent then started to tell us what she had planned for us to do during that lesson.
Mrs Vincent had told us to do some obesvational tasks, which invloved the 2 mins continous line drawing of the toy, the 2 mins blind contour drawing, the blind contour 2 mins but this time was continous and the 10 mins drawing of the animal.
These are just some of the sketches I had done on the fox:
I found it really boring to be drawing the same fox over and over again so I got tired of the fox and wanted a different animal. Mrs Vincent was near by and had given a different soft toy animal which was this lovely white polar bear, I thought that it was a really cute but at the same time cuddly so I had happily excepted the bear and started to draw it.
After some time of drawing the toy making sure that I was able to show the texture of the bear and to show the outline of the bear as well.
And the bear turned out like this:
Mrs Vincent had set us some homework which was to draw a soft toy animal at home showing the texture of the soft toy. When I did this homework I decided to draw a soft toy dog that I had found at home so I drew it and this is how it turned out!
I had really enjoyed drawing this toy and loved how it had turned out in the end. But I was a bit sad that I wasn't able to finish as Mrs Vincent said that it was pack up and that ment it was the end of the class. It was a pity that I couldn't finish it but overall it was a really intersting lesson and had learnt a lot of things from it.
